Last night I ran across this app, called StyleBook. Its awesome. It lets you inventory your entire freaking closet. That's right, so you can be LAZY! Sit in bed and watch American Horror Story, and put together outfits out of your actual clothes! Yes the downside is putting in all your clothes. You have to take photos of everything, shoes, shirts, pants, accessories. Once you are done (seriously like 11 hours later) then you have a closet that can go with you anywhere. So you can go shopping, and say hmmm do I need another jacket, oh wait, I have 32 already, probably not. However I can see right here, that I don't have a bright yellow one.. BUY IT!
This is my pride and joy. I really did do this all day yesterday. I name all my categories; Tops, Bottoms, Outerwear, Coats, Shoes, Accessories. Then you can have subcategories like to the right, under tops; tank tops, shirts, long sleeves, vests, button ups. I have subcateogries for all my categories. When you're adding clothes, you just click into the category, and there is a + item button, and then it lets you take a photo. It tried to auto erase the background for you. Some of mine didn't work so well, so you have to manually do it. That part sucks too.
Then you can go into a category and see all the clothes that you have. Below is all my vests. However you can also add looks. This is where your lazy kicks in. You can browse through your clothes, and put together outfits. You can even rate them, how much you like them, add brand names, sizes, and all this other helpful junkers.
I haven't added all my stuff yet. Jared insisted that I shower instead of finish taking pictures of my clothes. Rude. I know what I am doing tonight.
Oh P.S. the app was $3.99, and I justified it because I didn't buy lunch yesterday. Yeah buddy! That's how I roll.
