Australia Bans Skinny Models!

Australia Bans Skinny Models!  Vs  Australia Bans Skinny Models!

In a brilliant move by the Australian Government, Magazines and fashion houses will be banned from promoting an unhealthy body image down under. It will bring into effect the body mass indicator in modelling agencies,No models under 16 years old can model adults clothes & a disclaimer for all retouched phots and the phasing out of extreme dieting and cosmetic surgery advertising.

I back this move 100% as ive always vowed that I will not work with models that are too skinny for there hight or girls under the age of 18 - because thats what fashion houses do when they cant get a skinny enough woman, they employ skinny teenagers.

Rightfully so, the new rules also affect male models who can not be under weight, under age, excessively muscular (body mass vs hight & age), and can not be retouched to within an inch of there lives either.

It is taking a very long time for the fashion industry to deal with these issues after the shocking news in 2006…. when 2 young super models died in separate incidents - cause of death - under weight.
