Autumn Essentials

Autumn Essentials(I realize it is December and not Autumn anymore but I had forgot to post this earlier on!)
When I think of autumn, I am always drawn to the thought of the colourful leaves and the sun shining low through the trees and the beautiful scenery that comes with it. It is always this time of year when it reminds me of one of my favorite places in the UK which is a lovely little country park in Brampton. I used to go there as a kid with my family during the autumn half term and spend the day walking around the tarn, wading in the water with our wellies on and collecting conkers. As I've got older I have visited a few times myself (see here) and hope that it can be a place to take my future family and make our own memories. Unfortunately when I recently visited we could not get many photographs like I did the last time as the weather was very dull and miserable. Although I was able to capture this army of ducks whilst they were being fed. There is something really pretty about the feathers on ducks. One of them came so up close to me I was almost certain it was going to peck my fingers off! Luckily I survived ;) I'm hoping to plan my visit next year in a more organised manner as I would love to get snap happy when the sun is out as the tarn looks breath-taking when the sun is setting over it. I would also love to venture through during the summer as that is something I have never done and maybe even be brave enough to canoe across the tarn which would be amazing.
Autumn Essentials
My go to autumn essentials are pretty much summed up very nicely in this post. Visiting Brampton, seeing the colourful leaves and beautiful scenery, my super soft tartan scarf, chelsea boots and my gorgeous brand new coat. It is so comfortable and warm whilst looking smart at the same time, which is what I have longed for in autumn coat for a very long time. I saved up a few giftcards from my birthday and rather than just buy for the sake of it, waited it out until I found something I truly loved and when I saw this coat it was love at first sight. It has been a perfect addition to my wardrobe.
I have also had some exciting news. I have a brand new job! I am so happy and excited to work for a design company in a role that suits me perfectly and I have been really enjoying it so far. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!Autumn EssentialsAutumn EssentialsAutumn EssentialsAutumn EssentialsCoat: Topshop, Scarf: River Island, Tights: Asda, Wellies: Reynold's, Bag: Mulberry, Boots: Matalan
