Autumn Leaves in Coimbra

A couple of weeks ago one of my best friends here in Lisbon asked me if I could learn him some photography tricks, and you probably can guess my answer to that. We figured that a day trip to Coimbra would be the perfect field work for two eager photographers, and neither the weather nor the town disappointed us that day.

The town of Coimbra is one of the oldest university towns in Europe and the spirit of that permeates everything. We discovered the park in the afternoon when the sun was about to set and it made it realize that it really IS fall.

Somewhere, during our sightseeing we ended up at on the roof-top of a clock tower and seeing almost the entire town from above.

We returned back to Lisbon with cheeks kissed by the sun, film and memory card full of photos. And I, for once, haven't had that much fun photographing in a very long time.
