Baby #2: 33 Weeks Pregnant.. This Week's Been Tough!

33 weeks pregnant
Firstly, I just want to say that I love the way Ethan's looking at me in this photo, haha! It does make me laugh! So this week I am 33 weeks pregnant, (34 tomorrow) and boy oh boy do I feel pregnant. I think there's a moment in your third trimester where you suddenly just feel VERY pregnant and it sort of all hits you and you realize 'oh gosh, I'm going to have a baby and it's not going to be an easy task.' I'm not sure if everyone gets this moment, but I got it with Ethan and I've had it this time too.
This week hasn't been easy. I've spent a lot of it in bed which for me isn't an easy thing to do.. being that I think there's not a lot worse than lazing about in bed or on the sofa all day when there's so much more I could be doing. I like to keep active and get things done and so resting isn't really in my make-up. Asides from the obvious exhaustion, which now makes me feel like my head is permanently five steps behind the rest of my body at all times, I've also very suddenly got a throat infection out of the blue. I'd been feeling particularly run down for days before my throat got bad and now I know why. I don't like to bring up all the bad points of pregnancy all of the time, but when you get to the third trimester - things start to get pretty damn tough, as I'm sure many of you will already know. And then when you also have a toddler to run around after, who doesn't understand why Mummy is permanently tired, things are naturally quite a bit more harder!
Other pregnancy symptoms I've felt this week, are heartburn and some lightening type pains, which feels like a pressure - like baby is pushing down. The last I heard, baby had his head up by my ribs, but perhaps he's now turned. I've been feeling him a little less on my right side, where I was told his limbs were so I think it's probably likely that he's moved. But as always, it's so hard to tell.
Things like shaving in the shower and putting my socks and shoes on have suddenly become quite a challenge this week too. It's almost impossible to get up off of the floor without help or something to lean on and when I get out of bed, I have to roll my way to the edge first, which I suspect is quite funny to watch.
I'm now very aware that my due date is creeping up quite quickly and though my excitement remains, I am naturally starting to feel quite nervous. Asides from feeling scared about going through childbirth again,  I'm worried that I'll feel as unwell as I did last time after the birth - I found it so tough and so I'm just mentally trying to prepare myself, in case it happens again.
