We returned late last night from our epic 7 year anniversary celebration extravaganza trip to the UP. Let’s just say it was awesome. (More pictures and a few Yelp reviews still to come.)
**Chicken News**
This morning we went out to check on our momma hen (Goldie) and her baby chick. They were both out in the pen, despite it being a little chilly, scratching and picking away. Goldie still has an egg in the nest that we expect will hatch in the next 48 hours if she doesn’t abandon it. When Chris held the egg up to his ear, he thought he heard some peeps.
