Barangaroo Welcome Celebration – FREE Events

Posted on the 06 November 2015 by Suzanne Robinson @mummy2twinsblog

Stuck for ideas to take the kids this weekend? Or any weekend in November actually; well until the 22nd of November to precise. How about popping down to the Barangaroo Reserve for their free family events.

"The November program welcomes the next generation to the site and explores the theme of 'sky', symbolising Sydney's aspirations for the future. The new program is crammed with family fun and combines art installation, workshops, talks, tours and free live entertainment ."

Hopefully the sun is shining tomorrow so that you can go out and have fun at these fabulous free events. Great kids activities and remember to pack picnic chairs, a rug and of course some snacks if you want to make a day of it.

So what can you expect of tomorrows events?

  • Free live performances by Sousaphonics, Bird Parade and Hot Potato Band
  • Interactive circus workshops with Circus Playground
  • Picnic fare from Sydney's favourite food trucks
  • Talks and workshops will be on offer, including workshops with Australian Theatre for Young People and Sydney Writer's Festival Children's Program, a Kids Writing Workshop with award-winning author and poet Ed Wright, and artist talks with James Dive from The Glue Society.

Check the program so you don't miss out on a must waited for talk or event:
