Beauty Wednesdays: Nougat London Review*

I love discovering new and exciting brands but I have to admit - I am not very easily impressed when it comes to beauty products. There are very specific things that I need from a beauty brand in order to pique my interest - I need the products to be of use to me (I can't stand pretty but useless products filling up my cupboards and collecting dust!), I need them to be high quality and I need them to look appealing - I don't like anything ultra-sleek and modern when it comes to bath & body products, I like things to be beautiful with a retro-kitsch vibe to them. And so when I was recently allowed to try out Nougat London - a brand I had never before tried - I was intrigued to see what would be dropping through my letterbox. As soon as I opened up the package, I was impressed - the packaging was right up my street! Beautiful boxes covered in stunning images - exactly the kind of thing I want sitting out on display on my bathroom shelf for all to see - it just screams luxury!  I was sent three products to try: The Essentials Mini Travel Set (£8.00) -  containing a luxury vegetable-based soap, moisturising shower gel, conditioning body soufflé and luscious lip balm - this set is everything you need for a weekend away in one handy little pack! The fig & pink cedar scent I received this in is just blissful! It feels like such a treat to use, and my personal favorite item is the soap - the scent lingers on my skin for hours after use and is simply divine. Nurturing Hand Cream (£6.00) - again, a perfect size for travel or just for popping in your handbag. I have used this every day as I personally can't stand the smell of baby wipes on my hands, so its perfect to have in "my" side of Tyne's changing bag to use after each change - the scent isn't overpowering but you still know its there, and it leaves my hand feeling soft and cared for.  Shea Butter Body Silk (£15.00) - This feels so luxurious it is really quite hard to put into words!
