Before It Gets Chilly.

In my book, this week has actually been very good. Aside from the fact that now when I leave for work at 6:30am it's pitch black outside. That means winter is coming. It's also not tank top weather here anymore, it's starting to be light jacket weather. I like fall, but I don't like that fall leads right into winter. So savor these last few weeks of no snow. Until this happens...

This weekend is going to be awesome! I'm ready to get it started already.. Want to know why? Tonight I'm going on a bafate, I made that word up, it means best friend date. I've liked country music since middle school, but Ellen (my BFF - you can read about her here) hasn't always liked country. She actually didn't really like it until about 2 or 3 years ago. That is the only good that came from her EX. Now that she likes country music, I have someone to keep me in the loop about concerts and I have Ellen to go with me! Jared is definitely not going to raise his hand to go a country concert. Hooray for Ellen! Tonight we are going to see Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line and Thompson Square. I'm so excited that I can barely stand it. I wish work was over right now, so I could go home, country myself up and go, go, go!

Secondly, Saturday night is the Holy War. There are 2 colleges about 30 minutes from each other here and when their football teams play each other all of Utah and ESPECIALLY all of Salt Lake is watching. You can hear hoots and hollers from 30,000 feet above... probably. Anyway, I'm a BYU cougar fan, the opposing team is the Utah Utes. Both teams are playing really well this year so it's going to be a really intense game. Plus we have season tickets and the game is at home, so we'll be there cheering on our little cougs and my stomach is already knotted up.
