Belly Laughs and Accomplishments!

I was getting my hair done yesterday and Cara, my hairstylist/good friend and were talking. Her first and only child turned 1 last month. She just started walking. Cara and I were cracking up at everything she does. She is the happiest girl. She kept running into the salon room and just crawling up on the foot of my chair. She'd pull a face, Cara and I retaliated and pulled our own face and she just laughed and laughed. It was like those belly laughs, that as adults you rarely do. Where at the end of your laugh you kind of think you peed a little. A laugh like that.
Then 20 minutes later we were washing out our hair and her daughter was in her own world. She was dancing with her awful balance and she'd fall and then she'd work so hard to stand back up and dance again. They were such big accomplishments for her. Every day she is accomplishing something giant. It may be taking a step or learning that a cow says mooooo. We need to be less hard on ourselves as humans. We do so many incredible things in a day and never take time to gloat for ourselves. Tell your husband, your wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, kids, mom, dad... tell everyone that they accomplished something today. "J thank you for going to work"  "Way to go on recruiting a doctor to work in po-dunk town, West ville gangsta state". They ARE accomplishments. Be proud!
Why not tell someone that you're proud of them today? right now? Also, be proud of yourself.
Muchas love and kisses!
