Today is all about Heather who is a HUGE Indiana fan. I just met her from searching through Tarole's website. I AM SO HAPPY I found her!! To be honest, I have never met a IU fan.
Hey there! I’m Heather and I blog over at Pretty Strong Medicine. I’m so excited to be writing a review of Indiana University football!. Even though I graduated from Indiana University over a year ago and have moved on to medical school, I still remain a HUGE fan of IU sports, including our football team. (Hey, we’re projected to win 6 games this year! That’s unheard of around here!)
I love college football and fall is my favorite season. Mix that with the opportunity to watch awesome Big 10 teams on the cheap (our student season tickets are $30) and you have the potential for an excellent time!

At Indiana, we like to say “We never lose a tailgate,” mostly because we lose A LOT of football games and our tailgates are epic. (J: Reoccurring theme the past 3 days.) Indiana is a basketball school, plain and simple. Football season is just an excuse to wake up too early on a Saturday and hydrate in the tailgate fields with your fraternity pair or group of friends. Here’s a typical timeline of our football experience:
6:00 am Up and at ‘em, Hoosier Nation! It’s time to head to Kilroy’s for Breakfast Club! Kilroy’s often has a themed shirt they are giving way so it’s imperative that you get there bright and early! There’s also a breakfast bar for a small fee and awesome mimosa’s.

9:00 am Time to head out to the tailgate fields! Games usually start around 12 pm so it’s definitely a marathon, not a sprint. Tailgating at Indiana is all about crazy outfits, loud music, dancing, games, and lots of picture-worthy fun! No high heels, dress, suits or ties - it’s all about looking ridiculous and/or cute! If tailgating isn’t really your speed or you don’t want to risk potential bodily injury, head to Nick’s English Hut for the ultimate Hoosier game experience aka drink specials.

1:00 pm It’s been a long morning. You have two options: Go to the game or take a nap. Actually the game started an hour ago and you have no clue what the score is. If you do choose to attend the game, you’ll have no problem getting a seat. Games are actually pretty fun just for the “college experience” of being in a big stadium, hearing the band play, and cheering for your team. Victory or not, at least you showed up - time for a nap!

4:00 pm After that long, refreshing nap, it’s time to grab something to eat with your friends and swap tailgating stories - maybe a pizza from Pizza X. Go for a walk around the beautiful campus and hang up your bow ‘til next week. Most of all, rest up little Hoosier. The night is young and there’s a tailgate win to celebrate!

Go Hoosiers!

Now go check out her blog, and show her some love.
