Big Mike's Chicago Style Food Review

I have visited the US quite a number of times already but I haven't had the opportunity to drop by and eat at this specific state yet. If you are wondering how they taste and what they look like, well, let us all find out together, let me help you through by reading along.

Big Mike's Chicago Style Food facade

Big Mike's Chicago style food is located along Katipunan Street in Marikina. They serve chicken, fish, ribs, and more all American style and SERVING.
Their dining area is pretty neat and direct. Each table has a lot of chairs around which makes it group-friendly perfect for family dine-out, get-togethers, and reunions. I am digging the wood and brick theme which makes the vibe inside very earthly complimenting the food to look so enticing and delicious.

The foods we tried here were the following:

baby back ribs

chicken cream of mushroom

flavored chicken wings

So far, the servings are bigger than the average ones compared to other restaurants, the taste of their chicken wings is phenomenal, and they are presenting their food very well. They are also serving some Filipino cuisines as alternatives but still with some of their own twist using their imported spices and herbs.

Surprisingly, the pineapple shrimp worked! I don't like eating pineapples but the taste of this dish complimented each other. Kung ganito ba naman lasa ng pineapple eh di wala tayong problema! Haha!
Of course, the baby back ribs Chicago-style will deliver but look at that tilapia and how they presented it, galing no?! At masarap din! Nagustuhan ni Jeric.

On the other hand, Patrick enjoyed this multi-layered colossal burger. He demolished this towering meal 3x more than what me and Jeric ate. Grabe naman yown! Lakas!

They also serve their own version of fish & chips here which are the fish & mojos and fish & fries. If you are a fan of unlimited chicken wings, well, good news! They also have it here with all the favorite flavors and of course, paired with unlimited rice. But one of the standouts during our visit was the beef brisket with french fries and cheese! It was one of the most legit US-tasting fries I have tasted locally. Do not miss that out.

Americans are breakfast persons so make sure to try their breakfast platters too and feel the American side of you here. If you are not a fan of those, well, feel free to indulge yourself in their other Filipino favorite dishes such as BBQ, sisig, and bagnet as they serve them here as well.

Anyway, I am excited to try their other dishes the next time. Maybe those pasta, tapsilog, other flavors of their burgers, and those salmon offerings. Still with chicken wings and those legit fries, of course! Haha! Let's see. Their prices are quite reasonable as the taste of their food is quite good and has distinct taste since all are American-inspired (lalo na yung mga naka promo. Goods at sulit!) at ito yung tipong babalik-balikan mo in a while when its paydays or going to celebrate something.
