I am so sorry my posts have been so crazy sporadic and ridiculous as of late. But that's what happens when you're looking for a new car and you have to work 40 hours a week and you have a four day long birthday celebration.
That is right. I said a four day long birthday celebration.
For those of you don't know, I turned 23 last week. Huzzah.
I've had my moments of "OH MY GOSH. I'M SO OLD." But it's okay, because I still look like I'm 17, apparently. Even working in a professional office environment one of my coworkers thoughts I was 19. Oy. People tell me I will appreciate it one day. Anyway...
So here is the Instagram recap of my four days of birthday celebration.
Day 1: Tuesday night (the day before my birthday), we celebrated as a family since dad and little sister had stuff to do on my actual birthday. We had my favorite meal (honey baked ham, mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli), complete with jello cake, C.S. Lewis books and Vera Bradley awesomeness.
Day 2: A wonderful dinner out with none other than Office Boy. Above is the bouquet of flowers he gave me. :)
Day 3: Dinner at Ruby Tuesday, "Beauty in the Beast" in 3D and drinks at T.G.I. Friday's with my second family from school. An all around fantastic evening. Although I definitely learned that whiskey, tequila and vodka are a bad combination. I'm thinking that in general vodka and I just don't mix well. At all.
Day 4: My beautiful bestie and I went out for Thai food then wandered around Walgreens where we looked at hair dye, tried on crazy glasses, and discovered all sorts of random Disney princess paraphernalia.
All in all, it was a fantastic week of birthday awesomeness. Shades of Shayes will return to its regularly schedule programming this week. Look forward to more updates in The Saga of Office Boy, a rant about ChristianMingle.com, quite possibly the craziest story you've ever heard about someone hunting down a pair of shoes and whatever else may pop into this crazy brain of mine.
