So it seemed apt for me to visit some place even quieter and more beautiful than my own home village on my birthday. After much thought I decided on a little town called, Bourton-on-the-water, about an hour or so from where I live. And I'm pleased I did, it's a lovely little town - utterly beautiful and beyond peaceful. Everything feels slower, if that makes sense? Kind of like the pace of life is just that much slower than the normal.
It was a lovely sunny day and it was lovely to relax. Sadly we received some sad news about Adams Granny - who meant a great deal to me. She had, along with every member of my Husbands family, welcomed me in like their own ever since I met Adam as a teen. The good thing, about this sad occasion was that we were all prepared and I suppose there can be relief found in that she is now no longer suffering.
Anyway, I wanted to share a few snaps from my time at Bourton-on-the-water..
It truly was such a lovely little place to visit.
