Black & White Wedding Photography

Posted on the 07 November 2013 by Linusm

Beautiful simple black & white Wedding Photography – this image has it all.

My choice for the image of the week catching a tender moment of a bride dancing with her father.  Utilising negative space, dark with plenty of contrast.  Just enough detail given in the eyes to convey to the viewer, that this has everything to do with capturing the moment.

One of complete tenderness and emotion.  No connection with the camera / observer – both being in ‘their’ moment.

A beautiful image within which to illustrate and utilise the power of Black & White wedding Photography. Colour would simply distract the eye and take the power away, losing all emotion and context.

Taken a few weeks ago at the art deco Riviera Hotel, Weymouth.
