If I close my eyes and open my memory just a tiny bit, I quickly discover travel among my greatest blessings so far this year. I have traveled near and far – more far than near, though, and have sincerely enjoyed each moment of these journeys.
I should have known then it would be a great year.
In April, I visited New England and my daughter. I had few expectations that trip and I was completely open to anything. My trip was absolutely remarkable. I don’t know why there is even a slight fragrance of surprise in that last sentence.

I am blessed with travel companions who are as quirky as I am.
I am blessed to be able to share these experiences.
Right now, in this minute, I am blessed with my back-to-school schedule.
I am filled to overflowing with contentment. Blessed looks like my face, eyes closed, face lifted, smiling and allowing myself to fully be here now. With you. In these words. I am blessed you are reading.
