Besides the DVD mailing service offered by Blockbuster Total Access, consumers also have access to Blockbuster On Demand where you can rent or purchase and  stream movies instantly on your television set, through your blu-ray player, DVR, PC or mobile device.  The number of devices that Blockbuster supports is fairly small, and is not supported through Roku.  Your device will have to be activated through their website . . . check the site to see if your device is included.  You will need to be connected to the internet in order to view your on demand movies.

Another digital media shop that has a huge selection available is the iTunes Store.  Songs start at 69 cents each, and you can preview before you buy.  Purchased content can be downloaded, as well as saved to your iCloud account for access to any of your devices instantly.  iTunes also now allows you to convert high bitrate songs to your choice of 128, 192, or 256 kbps while you are syncing.  Prior to that, they allowed you to convert to 128 kbps.

iTunes Digital Copy allows you to import DVDs and blu-rays you purchase anywhere into the iTunes Cloud so that you can view them on your computer or iOS device.
