I am really excited about this new promotional tool that I found called Teespring. It is basically a group funded sales service that allows you to start a campaign to sell t shirts without having to buy them first! So now you can order online and still get free shipping if you pick them up from me, and get an awesome t shirt that will help support the blog!
You might think “oh it doesn’t take money to run a blog” and you would be half right. We use a lot of free stuff here, but there are still expenses that we have every day. I still need to pay to keep jeremyhouser.com up and running, I have to supply myself with Mountain Dew to keep hydrated and energized during these lengthy blogging sessions, but most importantly we may soon be bringing on new writers! I know my posts are highly entertaining, but I think it will be nice to get some fresh faces around here to get a variety of posts going not just the same old boring stuff you know and love.
So what does that mean for you? Well, a small (and by small I mean extremely small) portion of the cost of each t shirt goes to help fund the blog. I don’t expect to make any huge amount of money here, but it would be nice to get a little cash to keep the website up another day. So seriously, if you like the blog, or even if you just like the shirt, I would really appreciate your business. You can’t get an awesome shirt for $11.50 anywhere these days, so I would say it is a steal!
