Bones Jones stops Rampage Jackson In Title Defense!! UFC 135 Results!

Jon "Bones" Jones defends his title over Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, defeating his opponents by T.K.O. in the 4rd Round. There was a LOT of hype leading up to this event, and I could not wait to see these two battle it out in the octagon.

Also, Legend Matt Hughes is bested by Josh Koshchek. This fight has been anticipated for a long time, and was rumored to be Matt Hughes final fight in the UCF. After the loss, Matt Hughes confirmed it will not be his last fight, but he wants to be put on a "shelf" until further notice.

At the Weigh-Ins, there where sparks flying between all of the fighters, some serious stare downs and chest bumping, but the biggest deal was that Rampage finally got Jones to give a proper "MMA" stare-down.

The Matt Hughes vs. Josh Koshcheck fight was pretty good, ending in a knock out by Koshchek with 1 second on the clock, at the end of the first round. The venue that hosted the fight was at such high altitude, that these fighters keeping their energy as long as they did, and putting out such a good fight was amazing

The Main event was action packed from start to finish. Rampage entered with a "death stare" and his usual chain link necklace, and Bones entered to a more "mellow" tune, not like most MMA fighters. Once both fighters entered the ring, and Bruce Buffer announced the fight, Jon Jones instantly started off in this awkward crap walk position, hoping to shoot for the legs of Rampage. Rampage would wait for his moments, and strike when he found an opening, but Jon Jones didn't leave very many.

At the end of the 3nd round, Bones kind of "punked" Rampage, but running between his legs and flipping him over as the bell rang.

Through out this fight, we saw Rampage go back to his "muay thai" style of fighting, and started using his kicks. While this did slow Jones down, Jackson was no match for the young-fighters style. After winning the fight in the 4rd round by TKO via rear naked choke, Jon Jones would be qualified to fight Rashad Evans, for his next opponent. In the interviews after, Rampage said, "he is the real deal" refering to Jones, and said that "he lived up to the hype". It was an all-in-all good fight!
