You may recall we had a guest post not long ago by Caitlyn Nicholas, author of Drive Me To Distraction.
I have just recently finished reading this story, after finally finding some time, and I have to say, I really enjoyed it.
Since having B1 and B2, I find it hard to take much time to myself to read. Something I have done a lot of most of my life and something that I love. So when we were approached by Caitlyn about the possibility of her doing a guest post and offering us the chance to read her book before it was released, I was thrilled. Though, I knew that I wouldn’t be able to read it as quickly as I would have liked. I also knew that it would have to be a good story for me to get hooked and to make the effort to scrounge out some rare time to read it.
Hooked I was, and every moment I could find (quiet often ten minutes at a time here and there) I sat down to see where this story was going to take me next.
The story has everything. Love, lust, excitement, danger and suspense. Characters you will fall in love with and characters that you will love to hate.
You will be drawn in by the main character Alex. You will want her to succeed and you will cringe when you know she is doing something that will cause her more trouble or hardship. You will cheer her when she shows her strong, confident personality and feel for her when she is down.
There are some twists and turns you may not expect and it will keep you guessing and intrigued until the end.
When I began the book, I must admit that I was a little worried that I would be stuck reading a story that didn’t urge me to keep reading, and that I may have to write a review of, that I wasn’t in love with. Though I am very happy to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it and the last chapter (not for the first time during the story), had me on the edge of my seat. I was actually really disappointed when I finished. I wanted more.
If you are looking for a new book to read, I definitely recommend Drive Me To Distraction.
