About the Cover:Considering the self-publishing and first attempt, the cover page could be by-passed. But on a serious note, the cover looked just another word art. I did not find the cover interesting enough for me to pick from the bookshelf and give it a try. It could have been much better.
What I Felt About The Book:I have two simple words - "Well Done!". Seriously, I was hooked to the plot and was taken aback at almost all twists. While the lead characters are articulated well, I liked the character of villain- Guru. He made me visualize all current mean and corrupt politicians who go to all extent to fill in their pockets and interests.The mystery and suspense behind Divya is the icing on cake.
What I Liked About The Book:1. Quick Read - I finished the book in two days: actually two evenings. Yes it was a thin book, but there have been some thin books that took me more than a week to complete.
2. Ordering of First Few Chapters - Initially, I was confused the way first few chapters are ordered. I started liking that after a while.
3. Non Predictability - As I have already mentioned, the plot was really held well and tight till end. I was glad by the decision of Divya and Aryan at the end.
What I Did Not Like About The Book:1. I felt that Aryan had it too easy settling up in forest. There could have been few instances of obstacles faced by him.
2. A little more detailed description of characters and flora and fauna of forests and hills could have been provided. The vivid detailing of crime scene and feeling of characters looked missing. If that had been looked upon well, the book could have been a full-fledged novel.
Overall, I enjoyed reading the book and would like to give thumbs up for author’s first attempt. Now, the big question – “Would I recommend it to someone?” My answer is “Yes if the reader is looking for some very quick crime/thriller fiction.”
Last but not the least, here are some lines worth quoting from the book:
Fear of death grips only those people who values life over death.…any problem can be solved if approached with dedication, will power, and sincerity.…no challenge was unsurmountable…
