Bridport Wedding Photography : Previews

For many people, the idea of a wedding day involves two young people in love, celebrating with all their friends and family and followed by a huge evening reception. But, of course, love isn't restricted to twenty somethings - and weddings come in all shapes and sizes! That was the case at this beautiful and intimate wedding in Bridport, Dorset, where the bride and groom shared their special day with their closest family in a truly touching celebration.

It was lovely to be back in town to photograph some more Bridport wedding photography, but it was my first time at the gorgeous Mangerton House where the wedding party were staying for the whole week - and where the reception was held after the wedding ceremony. What a gorgeous location in truly stunning grounds - and after a week of decidely dodgy weather, we had the perfect day to enjoy the amazing views from the venue!

These intimate weddings are some of my favourite types to photograph, particularly when I get to move quietly amongst the preparations of the day before capturing the 'big event'. A wedding day isn't just about saying I do, after all - it's about people coming together to mark a magical event, and often some of the smallest moments will evoke the most poignant memories in future. That's why documentary wedding photography is such a vital component of a wedding day for me and for the clients I photograph for.

Let's take a look at some of the favourite images from this gorgeous wedding day, for two very special people - and enjoy my opportunity to shoot some more Bridport wedding photography! I'm looking forward to being back there soon 🙂
