“Can you hear me?” He asked, worry prevalent in his eyes. She just seemed to sigh and stared at the cup of coffee in front of her, preparing herself for another day of pretending to be normal. He waved his hands in front of her eyes.
“HEY!” He said louder, trying to gain her attention once more. He crossed his arms and pouted as he watched her leave out the door without a word to him. He was so confused about the whole ordeal and his eyes wandered to his newspaper.
