Lets admit it. There’s nothing better than receiving a personal card in the mail. But for me, it’s even better when it’s the kind of card that can make you laugh out loud. These are the exact kind of occasion cards I love sending to friends and family and since I live so far away from many of them, it’s a tradition that I want to keep going. In years past, I had a yearly card box that whenever a special occasion came up I could just go to the box and pull a card up, but it was getting pretty empty. So I went to Walmart to stock up with their Buzzworthy Card collection. I had two special occasions coming up where I wanted to send cards out to special people in my life.

For one of my good friends I started with decorating the outside of the card with some fun stickers and Glitter Glue, then of course, when it came time for her to open her card, a little something special was waiting inside:
A trick I learned long ago from one of my favorite aunts. Besides, it always makes the person smile when they open their card to that.
And the other special occasion was for my other half’s birthday, so, of course, I had to add a little “love” to the card:
