In December I was very kindly gifted THE most BEAUTIFUL cashmere jumper I have ever had the pleasure of wearing. It's been a while to get this post together because I have been struck down with the flu, like so many others this winter. After 5 weeks (yes, five!) I'm finally feeling better and normal blogging has resumed I thought I would kick off with this beauty.
I absolutely love my winter wardrobe, wearing beautiful jumpers, jeans and some chunky boots are always my go-to and I always feel so comfortable. The only issue with this time of year is often finding something that is warm yet thin, soft and definitely not scratchy and comfortable enough to wear under a coat. So when Lands End reached out and offered me the opportunity to try one of their cashmere jumpers, I absolutely could not say no.
I went for their long-sleeved cowl neck tunic jumper in the gorgeous pearl gray shade - and it is the perfect cashmere jumper. When I received the jumper I was so impressed with the presentation of the jumper and for that reason, it really would make the ideal gift.
When I popped the jumper on for the very first time, I was really happy with the fit. It was super comfortable and felt very luxurious. Admittingly though, I was only off for a dog walk but felt glam!
One of my concerns when choosing cashmere is washing, but I popped it on the wool/soft care cycle and then laid it nice and flat and haven't experienced any shrinking or miss-shaped issues (thank goodness!).
Cashmere is always a luxury and can be costly, I felt, for the quality, to money was worth it and if you're looking to buy someone a rather special gift I think this could be the perfect option for you.
