This season moves the Fab Five's base from Atlanta to Kansas City. They're diving into the heart of the American Midwest, and it's just as delightfully heartwarming as you'd imagine.
For those who haven't discovered the pure joy that of Netflix's "Queer Eye." I envy you. There's nothing like that first emotional rollercoaster with Antoni, Tan, Karamo, Bobby, and Jonathan.
Each and every episode is 40+ minutes of self-discovery, healing, reinvention, and acceptance. Oh, and you will cry. You may think you're going to make it through with dry eyes and then they'll hit you with a tsunami of a raw, human emotion.
It's not all tears. It's goofy and fun. It's happy and celebratory. It is the human experience. It reminds us not to judge a book (or person) by its cover. It challenges your preconceived notions about people. It's incredibly relevant and terribly important. Basically, it's the serious discussion and the pep talk we all need right now.
On that note, I'll leave you to enjoy your weekend. Be smart and safe this St. Patrick's Day weekend. And if you need a pick-me-up, "Queer Eye" is here for you.
