Catching Up With A Friend

What's better than enjoying Guinness with a friend? Nothing. After having the water heater fixed yesterday and enjoying a spectacular hot shower this morning (ah how i've missed you) i headed out to meet Eddy and show the Ignite business to his sister in law. I'm feeling productive this morning. After a breakfast taco and talking shop i walk out of there with a good feeling about her joining. That'd put Eddy one associate away from Managing Director and even though you have no idea what i'm talking about, the bottom line is that it is Suhweet. Money in everyone's pockets. And everyone likes money, right? right. *cha-ching*
So on the way home i decide to cruise by American Eagle, buy a couple pairs of shades i'd been needing (i guess it's not really 'needing' unless you have like a condition or something which i don't, but you know what i mean) and I'm in and out like a bandit and then headed home because i know the Sears guy is scheduled to swing by and fix my oven which hadn't been heating. [preeeeetty sure that was a run-on. get off my back] So as i'm chillin outside and going through junk mail my long lost partner in crime Cristen (pictured above) who had been away in South Africa has returned for a visit and is wanting to meet up. Well i'm all for that. Screw this oven guy. I make the call to reschedule that repair for another day far, far away and shortly after i hang up it's *knock, knock* and Cristen arrives at my door. Perfect. "Let's buy Guinness at Spec's." and off we go. [To you the reader, i pose again the question from earlier: What's better than enjoying Guinness with a friend? The answer is still NOTHING]. We spend the afternoon doing what we do best; kicking back and relaxing. As she leaves to go have dinner with another friend my phone is ringing. It's that prospect i showed the business to this morning. She likes the opportunity and wants to join up. So i guess the only thing better than enjoying Guinness with a friend is enjoying Guinness with a friend and making money. Yup. Tuesday was just about perfect. And the icing on the cake: i just found another check in the mailbox. Thank you, Ignite.
