This post is part of the CHENNAI BLOGGER CLUB’S CBC VIBGYOR BLOG TAG 2 where some of us will write a post on the colours of VIBGYOR each day starting 1st of May to the 7th of May, 2020.
The color theme for today’s post is BLUE.
Blue is a very common color found everywhere around us. It is so much ingrained into our lives, that it has become quite common and we don’t get to realize the importance/significance of it, just like some other common and important factors that fuel our life.
One such funny (significant, maybe!) trivia about me is that, blue is my favorite color and in my younger days, I was quite superstitious about the color blue. Well, we’ve all been stupid at some point in life. Being superstitious isn’t that bad at all, if it brings some fun without any harm. I had this one particular blue coloured handkerchief which I thought (it could’ve been real too) brought me good luck, whenever I carried it along with me. So, I used to carry it with me to all my exams. Of course, it did being me some good luck!
Yet another reminder that comes with blue, is the popular monolog of the great Miranda Priestly …’that lumpy blue sweater.. It’s actually cerulean’ in Devil Wears Prada, one of my all time favorite movie. The attitude carried by Meryl Streep in the movie is just amazing and is one of the finest.
Blue sky, reflected over the blue river!(It’s the river Kaveri at Mayavaram)
Blue, also bring in memories of my first house named Bluebells at school, the Indian Cricket Team, Frozen Queen Elsa, Monday ‘blues’, morning glory flowers, on and on…but let’s conclude here!
God Bless
