I say cheap, I mean FREE! Well, almost.*
*kettle not included. That's right, the secret is hot water! Now I'm not suggesting you pour a kettle of boiling water over your face, or that this is going to replace your Clarins Perfecting Touch, but it's certainly a thrifty little trick that's worth giving a go. I noticed a little while ago, that on days that I use my Liz Earle Cleanse&Polish before applying my make up in the morning, I get much better results. My foundation goes on so much smoother, and it lasts longer. Despite applying what I consider the bare minimum amount of foundation, after a few hours it seems to be sitting on my skin like this horrible dry, orange layer - urgh. Now, that might just have been my cheap foundation, but I don't get that trouble any more!
