The older I get, the more I’m looking for products that are more natural, fresh, and
organic. As I find ways to eat better, I am drawn to products that are natural, and
working towards healthier processes.
So, when I heard that Foster Farms was introducing their newly Simply Raised (antibiotic
free) and Organic Chicken to the market I couldn’t wait to try them out. Foster Farms has
been around since 1939, and it’s a brand I truly can trust, and the largest poultry producer
on the West Coast. Their Simply Raised chicken is now available in local grocery stores
and Organic is in Costco and select supermarkets.
I loved looking through all the options on the products too. From Party Wings to Thin-
Sliced Breast Filets to Half Breasts and more. There were a lot of options for the chicken
I love to cook.
And, speaking of cooking. One of my ALL TIME favorite things to do with chicken is
cook over a bed of rice. Something about the combination of Chicken and Rice does it
for me, especially when you’re cooking them together:
The chicken comes out so fresh and moist, and the added flavors of the rice add such a
huge component. And the best part? It’s so easy to create.
When I first pulled the chicken out of the oven, the spices from the rice spilled out, but
the flavors added more to the chicken. So, when you pick out your rice to pair with the
chicken think of the flavors you want to also add to the chicken.
