On this day in 1776…may seem like a weak start to a #SundayFunday post, but bear with me…the Liberty Bell rang out through Philadelphia summoning its citizens to gather and hear the first public reading of the Declaration of Independence.
While today many of us are easing our way back into a regular week after a split holiday week, back in 1776 our nation was having one heck of a week. And it looks like our present nation is in for one as well, fittingly postponed by our celebration of those important, historic moments centuries ago.
So, as we all prepare for the full week ahead, today’s Sunday Funday is dedicated to our country’s past, present, and future.
