…choose Your Words

Those of you with saltier vocabularies, I have good news for you: Your sailor-friendly word choices may actually be good for you.

Yes, you potty-mouths, science has admitted that cursing may actually have some positive impacts on your health.

Generally they’ve determined that cursing is a harmless, creative emotional release that can serve as a great coping mechanism.

That doesn’t mean I won’t judge you for limiting your personal lexicon when you have the entire English language at your disposal, but I suppose your emotional release will help you cope with that.

Finally, I just want to be clear these health benefits don’t apply to those of you who like to use a certain word (rhymes with ducking) to describe just about everything.

That’s not an emotional release, that’s a lack of variety in your vocabulary.
