Christening Gift Ideas

Posted on the 01 March 2014 by Sparklesandstretchmarks @raine_fairy
My lovely little nephew Kier will be getting Christened soon, and so I have been spending a lot of time shopping around for perfect Christening gifts.
People were so generous when we had Tyne Christened, I was overwhelmed by the amount of gifts we received and until then I had never really noticed just how stunning and thoughtful Christening gifts can be.
We received some traditional gifts such as a Silver Christening Certificate holder, silver trinket boxes and Silver fork & spoon sets.
We also received some more unusual but sentimental gifts such as personalised Christening day bibs, hand & foot print sets, money boxes and even a Newcastle United Football Kit!
There is simply so much choice when it comes to christening gifts and it can be difficult to know which direction to go in.
I personally love the more traditional side of Christening gifts as I think personally that it's important to remember the reason and meaning behind the celebration, but of course if you are not personally a religious person you may prefer to go for something a little different and perhaps more practical.
No matter what you're looking for, there are many gorgeous gift ideas out there...it's difficult to narrow down the choice.
Here are some my favorite idea's so far:

3) Little Tooth Wooden Box set - £9.50
4)Handmade Souvenir Clay Angel with Gift Card - £6.30
5) Godson Towel - £12.00
