Christie's has announced its April 17 sale of an exceptional jewelry collection from the estate of copper heiress, Huguette M. Clark. Highlighting the sale is an antique cushion-cut fancy vivid purplish-pink diamond of 9 carats. Pink diamonds of this size are exceptionally rare, and fancy color diamonds of this cutting style and provenance are seldom seen at auction. The fancy pink is expected to fetch between $6 and $8 million.
