A Canvas
Every grandparents pride and joy is, of course, their grandchildren!I know that my Mum & Dad absolutely dote on their grandkids and come Christmas time or birthdays there is nothing that they love to receive more than something with a picture of their grandchild on it!
And so what could possibly be better than a canvas print?!
You could waste your money on gift sets that will be stuck in cupboards for years, or photo albums that only come out every now and then - or you could spend your money more wisely on something that will take pride of place on their wall for years to come!
We were very kindly given the chance to try out Photobox's canvas service and I could not have been more impressed!
This photograph was a snap that I took one afternoon on my iphone - I LOVE the photo but, as its a phone snapshot, the quality of course is not great.
When I was given the chance to try a canvas I knew I wanted this photo but I was worried about how it would turn out....
When it arrived (literally a few days after ordering by the way!) I was quite nervous to open it and see how it looked....I was worried that I may have wasted the review opportunity by using a rubbish quality photo.
I was STUNNED when I saw the canvas!
The Print is absolutely perfect! The quality is exceptional - if this is what can be done with an iphone snapshot I can only imagine how great a proper, high quality image would turn out!
The canvas is a perfect size at 61x40.6cm and, although we intended to give it to my parents for Christmas, we loved it too much and decided to keep it ourselves! Everybody who visits us comments on how stunning it is.
And of course, my parents saw it and hinted that they'd LOVE one for Christmas!
We'll just have to see what Santa brings them..... ;)

Personalised Calendars
While I was on the Photobox website ordering the Canvas, the wide array of photo gifts they do caught my eye - there is so much to choose from! Who knew you could create so many wonderful gifts from your precious memories?!
I thought the perfect gift for Gran would be a photo calendar - the calendar is a4, and I have personalised each page with a photo of the grandchildren - I have tried to keep a theme running throughout, so the colder months feature the grandchildren all wrapped up for winter, the summer months contain beach photos, Christmas of course has its very own Christmas photo and so on!
I also thought it would be nice to make sure that each child is the star of their own birthday month!
You can also pay a little extra to have the family birthdays and celebrations printed on to the calendar so that they are never forgotten!
I think these make such lovely gifts, and there will be a few family members unwrapping these on Christmas Day!
