It's not all about the chocolate this Christmas. (Though I do have a Christmas chocolate blog post scheduled of course ;)!).. Check out my selection of some other (very yummy) foods that I rate that you might like to try out this Christmas time!
Wonderful Pistachios These are a great all-natural, healthy snack. They taste really good and are just perfect for around this time of year, where you can sit around at Christmas sharing them between friends and family.
Smoked Paprika Kettle Chips
These are tasty; smoked paprika flavoured with porcini and garlic butter! They are as good as you expect from Kettle Chips. I've always been a big fan of their flavours anyway but these are just totally and utterly gorgeous.
GOOD Hemp Food company
These products are suitable for vegans. The seeds can be added to most things including salad, which is what we've added them to. They provide that extra bit of flavor and make meals such as salad that bit more interesting. The oil is rich in omega 3, 6 and 9 and has become a favorite in our house now.
Ocado GroceriesI recently tried Ocado groceries, (they are an online supermarket for those that don't know about them) and was really impressed. Searching for products is really easy; I can type in 'vegetarian' and it brings up all of their vegetarian products, so I don't have to waste time browsing through items that are unsuitable for veggies, and it's the same for vegan. I can even type in 'vegetarian wine' (which can be a pain to find) and all of their wine that is suitable comes up instantly. I shop online anyway as I believe that it saves time and money, I currently shop with Tesco but I'm really considering moving over, as it appears that it may be less hassle.
Patchwork Pate (They do vegetarian pate!!)
I need to calm down about this, but after Quorn discontinued their mouth waveringly tasty vegetarian pate, I thought that I'd never get to enjoy a nice veggie pate again (a proper one, not just the mushroom 'pate' you can pick up in supermarkets, though they are nice.) But when I discovered Patchwork Pate, my vegetarian pate dreams came true. I will state that they don't just sell veggie pates but since I have a strict no-meat policy going on I am only interested in the vegetarian side of things. The bottom line is their vegetarian pates are fantastic and you can view them here.
Moonpig Food Lovers HamperThis makes the perfect gift for those that either love their food (and wine) or for those that you just don't know what to get for. It contains a lovely wine, cheese, biscuits and other tasty delights. Who wouldn't love one of these this Christmas?!
