Christmas Gift Guide

Posted on the 20 December 2020 by Suzanne Robinson @mummy2twinsblog

I know it is nearly Christmas and until recently many were going to finally catch up with family and friends that they haven't seen in a long time due to COVID restrictions. With Australia in wave of the outbreak many have turned to do some online retail therapy.

If you are like me and have worked your magic this year to get some special surprises for the kids this year you are not alone. It has been a tough year and one that many are keen to take a break from and having a nice gift from a special someone can make things much easier.

So here is a list of some things that I have loved and I think you will too, or your kids will adore!

Monster Truck Max-D Playset

Alexander was sent this amazing Monster Truck playset. He was trilled when he got it and so exicited to get it setup and to start playing with it.
His big sisters helped him set it up. Alexander added the stickers to the set and then was keen to give the Max-D Monster Truck a workout on the ramp.

If you get the Monster Truck high enough and at the right force it its the Monster Truck Logo and it splits in two. This was the goal from Alex as he was dead keen on making things break.

My little boy has been taking his new playset into the garden, the living room and actually everywhere around the house and beyond.

If you want to get your child a fun playset for the holidays, Christmas, Birthday, or just because this set is one you should be considering.

Marvel United Board Game

The girls got sent a Marvel United Board Game and they were trilled as they love Marvel and all the characters.

"In Marvel United, players must work together to stop the plans of an evil Supervillain. They will use each hero's custom deck of powers and abilities, playing off the strengths of one-another for added effect, as they try and finish missions and take out the villain before it's too late. They'll battle in locations all around the city. In the end, either the city will be saved, or the world will be doomed."

It is a great game that uses skill to defeat the evil enemy and also has some great hero games pieces too!

Marvel United Board Game can be purchased online for $49.95 at the Gamesmen.com.au

We loved it, however I think younger kids need a bit of help understanding how to play. The game is for kids from 14 years, and my girls are 12.

Alexander loves playing with his new interactive Osmo Pizza Co game. It allows kids to learn about money, business, and have fun. Osmo has games that allow kids to not just learn on the iPad but drawing, using blocks, and counting out money.

The special iPad stand with reflector allows the game to see what you are doing on the desk or in front of the iPad and copies it in the game. So if you serve a customer change it shows the amount you gave to the customer and the same for if you have drawn a picture it reproduces in a monster's hand.

It was so fun and impressive to play as a parent, and my four year old who is basically nearly 5 just loves it. I am keen to get him more Osmo games.

If you want something fun that will grow with your child then investing in Osmo is the way to go. This game is so perfect for a Christmas gift or a special treat during the holidays. You can purchase Osmo games and iPad stands at the following places: BigW, Kidstuff, JB Hi-Fi, Amazon.com.au, Apple Store, and OfficeWorks.
