Christmas was just so lovely this year, just like I knew it would be. The morning didn't start off as well as had been planned as we ended up taking an un-expected trip to the vets with Sammy, our cat, as she was limping on her back leg. But she is fine and an unplanned trip to see the vet was all part of the fun for Ethan.
The excitement we shared, from sitting together around our christmas tree as a family opening our presents from each other for the very first time, was just the best. As was watching Ethan enjoying his new toys and seeing him beam with happiness the whole day.
We've had lots of exciting days over the Christmas period from Christmas Day over at my Husbands parents house, to Boxing Day at home with my family and then more family visiting over the weekend just gone and also my brothers 21st surprise Birthday party. It's been a whole lot of fun! It's just a shame that we have to get back to normality so quickly!
