Aside from all the sentimental cheesy stuff, one thing that finally hits me is that I can feel my pants getting a little too tight for comfort since yesterday. I am still in a slight state of denial and have push aside the thought of stepping onto a scale to acknowledge the actual damage done to my weight. Maybe tomorrow is the day to start exercising and be a little more healthy conscious. What can I say though, Vancouver is truly a food-lover's heaven.

This is only one dish we had on the first day of Chinese New Year. This dish is made from the legs of a 9 lb. Alaskan King Crab my Mum has ordered for the special occasion. The upper part of the legs are deep fried made into another dish, and the rest of the meat is torn up, shredded, and mix-in with the fried rice. On top of that, we had snake soup (afterall it's the year of Snake) and couple other equally scrumptious dishes. That is a dinner to be remembered...yum!
