We arrived in the early evening and were hungry. My colleague suggested we eat at Fogo de Chao, a Brazilian-Style Steakhouse. Love it!!! Never experienced Steaks like this in my life.
I had planned to visit a cigar lounge for the late evening, but Holt’s closes at 8pm and we finished eating shortly after 8. The alternative was next door, but Ashton has been closed and reopens tomorrow, when I leave town. As a result, later in the evening I lit a Candela Wrapper Lonsdale Cigar from A. Fuente and took a Cigar Walk. Just before finishing it and entering the hotel, a homeless man asked me for a cigarette. Needless to say, I do not smoke cigarettes, and as a result never carry one. He asked me then to have my cigar. Well, as odd as it felt, I gave it to him. To his partial dismay, he is obviously a stranger to Cigar smoking and took a few draws, just as he would with a cigarette. The poor man almost choked on it.
“Take it easy!” – I said. “It is for the mouth, not to inhale”
He clearly understood what I meant, but that did not help him much.
