It's spectacular outside. One of those days you kinda wish you were off, but at the same time, I do enjoy a good Saturday at the station.
Two days ago was a fun filled day from start to finish. Got off work, then off to the shooting range, pizza and beer for lunch, cigars and Guinness afterward, then bar hopping with Hector.
Nothing like working a code first thing in the morning to start your day with 8 family members screaming around u. Time to shoot guns.

That cigar was one of the best I'd had. A Cao Brazilia box pressed. Strong but smooth.
Perfect. Around 5 o'clock most of the guys had to get back home. My night was just starting. I felt like stopping in to several spots. Met up with Hector and did just that.
Murdock's, Revolution, Recess, Jamison's & Molly's. We wanted to close out at the Cove but just ran out of time
(Sorry, Tiffany). Somewhere along the way we met 2 sisters, one bartending at Jamison's, the other at Molly's, and I have some kind of fuzzy memory about offering one of them a job at Jack Ash's.
"Tell Julian the manager that Eric and Hector sent you. He loves us. Give us your number. You'd be great there on Thursdays." It wouldn't be the first time a girl we met while out and about has gotten a bartending job through us.
Eric and Hector's Travelling Bartender Finding Company, coming to a bar near you. I figure if you get the girl a job at one of your favorite spots there's a great chance you'll suddenly be one of her favorite customers to serve.
There's a method to this madness.
Fuzzy memories
And after a chill Friday it's now Saturday at the station. Tailboard on Ladder 7. They had a house fire last night. We'll see what tonight brings. I bought this book yesterday I'm itching to start. You may have seen the trailer for it.
Anything that says "An Oral History Of The Zombie War" on the cover is a winner
I have a feeling ill have my nose in a book for the next couple of days. I love weekends at the station.
