I have recently become the proud owner of a brand new Apple iPhone 4s, and I’m enjoying it immensely. After years of first Nokia and then Samsung mobile phones, this one is top notch. The screen resolution is vastly improved from the 3Gs version and so is the camera. The iPhone 4s also has Siri, which in effect is a voice controller for your iPhone but also does searches on the web for you. The Apple people probably had a lot of fun thinking about the most frequently asked questions for Siri and coming up with witty answers. Others now make Youtube clips showing you some of Siri’s best answers.
But this was not why I started writing this post. I have been listening to Coldplay’s Mylo Xyloto on my new iPhone and I’m loving it! It’s dreamy, catchy, uplifting, mesmerizing. Songs like ‘Hurts like heaven’, ‘Paradise’, ‘Every teardrop is a waterfall’, ‘U.F.O.’, ‘Princess of China’ featuring Rihanna, and my personal favorite ‘Up in flames’ have made me get on Coldplay’s side. This is their first album I actually like completely and not just a song here and there. This will be the music that takes me into the New Year.
