Staying healthy at college can be hard. Good thing I'm here with tips!
College Bound | Pt. 4 Stay Healthy
1. Go to the rec center! You are paying for it. It's included in tuition. Why not use it? There are so many exercise options there. Take a fitness class or swim laps. You're bound to find something you enjoy.
2. If you want to work out in your dorm room or apartment, it's hard to find a regimen that doesn't disturb others near you. Try Blogilates with Cassey Ho. She has videos specifically for apartment work outs!
3. Make wise food choices. Some rec centers have nutrition experts that can help you figure out a food plan if you're trying to lose weight. There are also some healthy recipes on Blogilates that I highly suggest! As for deciding where to eat, the dining hall might be your best choice. They usually have healthy options to choose from. Also try grocery shopping! There's nothing like fresh fruit for a study snack.
4. Don't forget about mental health. If you get too stressed out or find that you can't pay attention, go to a counselor. If you don't know of one, contact your psychology department. Usually there is a psychologist on campus to work with students.
I also have a recipe for you today!  Baked Cheesy Avocado!
The ingredients you'll need for this are: - one ripe avocado  - sea salt - light olive oil - cheese ( I used mozzarella and Parmesan)
1. Preheat the oven to 450. Cut the avocado in half and take the pit out. Poke holes in each half with a fork so the olive oil soaks all the way through.
2. Drizzle some olive oil on the avocado and sprinkle with sea salt.
3. Cover the avocado with cheese.
4. Place on a baking tray and bake for about 10 minutes or until the cheese melts.  College Bound | Pt. 4 Stay Healthy
