Wedding Announcement from Cross Stitch Collection
Here’s the finished wedding announcement. I got this design from the magazine CrossStitch Collection. If I was smart I would have saved the month or issue number for you…but I wasn’t. I usually pull out all the designs I like and then recycle the rest of the magazine… I really love this design for a lot of different reasons. The colors and the cake designs make it feel so fun and with a smaller number of thread colors used it can be easily modified to fit the specific colors the bride has picked for her wedding (which is what I did with this one). It also comes with a full alphabet which makes the personalization at the bottom very easy. Also note the blanket stitch finish around the edges. This isn’t part of the pattern, I’m just proud of it.
