I am pleased to reveal the cover of Damyanti Biswas 's debut crime novel, which will be launched this September by Simon & Schuster, India.
I've known Damyanti for several years now-we were on the A to Z Challenge team in 2016 together and thus was born a friendship! I've somehow missed meeting her but we did have a marathon phone call once!
We were also part of a couple of book collaboration projects the same year contributing to Tree of Life (Audiomachine) and Beyond the Binding.
Recently, she changed her profile pic on social media and after complimenting her, I asked her why and she told me that it was her "author" pic. That's when I knew she was writing a new book, soon to be published.
Naturally excited, I wanted more details but had to be patient.
And now, I am happy to show you the cover of her brand new novel, .
It is a crime thriller -my favorite genre-and I think the red and black color combination is perfect for the setting of the novel. The face on the cover piques my curiosity, making me wonder who she is and how she fits in the story.

I was lucky to read an excerpt from the book and was hooked to the story right from page one.
Corruption, power struggles, murder, family, emotional battles, a serious social issue - the book has it all and promises to be gripping.
