Craps.

I don't know how many of you gamble, but here in this household we enjoy it. Well let me rephrase.. Jared enjoys it. I just really love getting out of the house with my main man.

Well gambling is illegal in Utah, so we make a small hour and half drive out to Wendover, Nevada and get our gambling itch scratched. I really love going out to Wendover and it's definitely not because it's a cool place. It's kind of a dump. It's a tiny town right on the border of Utah and Nevada. There are 3 main casino and 2 small worse casino's all laid out within 3 miles of each other. The whole town is itsy bitsy. The only people who live there are employed by the casino's.
A few weeks ago with Jared's twin, Josh, and his girlfriend, Kim.
The reason I like going out to Wendover is because it's so refreshing to get out of the house. It's nice to leave the pups with a sitter (thanks, Brennon!) and just have time with Jared. When we're at home we can find too many things we need to do; laundry, blog, practice guitar or photography. There are too many distractions! When you're away from home, it allows you to be together and have no distractions. Gambling is our distraction. Don't get me wrong, we aren't laying down hundreds of dollars and wasting away our mortgage. We usually look at our budget and say our max is X amount of mula. The good news is since December, we've been about 6 times and we've made money every time except for once. The odds are ever in our favor... In reality J's favorite game is Craps and you can win at that game easily, it's just a really slow long process. You have to have patience, which J has.
Wendover trips have become our date nights and I'm very happy with that. I love having a night with my man away from home. I love being able to have a long drive to laugh or just relax, dinner and breakfast out. It's really becoming a nice reason to spend time together.
