Create An "Honest" Home: Make The Switch In Your Bathroom!

Ever since I found out I was pregnant, I immediately began trying to convert our home into a more eco-friendly and "natural" environment. Not only do I have to worry about what I expose myself to while pregnant, but I also began to worry about what our new baby would be exposed to in the future.
I was blessed to have the opportunity to work with The Honest Company in creating a "honest" home.
My challenge: Make the switch to all natural products in my bathroom.
What I absolutely love about The Honest Company is that they offer natural solutions to everyday needs. Not only do they have cleaning products, they also offer diapers, shampoos & conditioners and so much more!
The items I chose to switch out were hand soap, body oil, toilet cleaner and multi-surface cleaner. My beef with all natural products in the past was that they either smell bad, don't actually do a good job cleaning or were extremely expensive. First of all, the Honest products I received were all very comparable in price to their non-natural counterparts that I usually purchase in the store. On top of that, they have fresh, clean scents. Lastly, they are great at doing what they say they do. But don't take my word for it, see for yourself!
I used it in our bathroom to clean Ryan's very disgusting sink:
On the right you can see how shiny and clean the sink was after spraying and wiping it down. It completely removed the gunk, grime and extra toothpaste Ryan so kindly left behind.
Without even thinking about it, Ryan took the spray and started cleaning windows. He was so shocked that he didn't need a separate glass cleaner. The multi-surface cleaner doesn't leave a single streak!
Marcy's gross drool on the left, and sparkly clean afterwards!
I was so amazed by this truly all in one product.
Next up: Honest Toilet Cleaner
Again, I let my toilet get kind of gross to try out the product.
And the toilet cleaner did an amazing job!
The other two products I tried out were the Honest Hand Soap and the Honest Body Oil. The soap and oil smell citrus-y and fresh. I love that your hands feel very soft after using the soap. This is really important to me because my skin has dried out so much after moving to Colorado. I wanted to try the body oil for my growing tummy. My stomach has gotten so itchy and the body oil was so soothing. The other great thing is that it soaks into your skin, so you don't feel like your clothes are going to be covered in oil.
I also was able to purchase and try out some other Honest products on my own. I am very happy with every single product that I purchased. Besides the items featured above, I also have used their auto dishwasher gel, the hand sanitizer and the stain remover.
What I was most excited about discovering was the bundles that The Honest Company offers. They have free trials for both a Family Essentials Bundle and a Diaper Bundle.
I priced out their Diaper Bundle against diapers at Walmart and Target and also added in wipes. The Diaper Bundle is an extremely good deal and I plan to sign up once my baby is born. They ship you all natural diapers and wipes each month straight to your door. Not only does that make me happy to know that my little one will be in all natural diapers, I am happy I won't be running to the store on 2 hours of sleep!
Lastly, I want to share that when my products arrived, two of them had exploded. This is not uncommon in Colorado because we are at an extremely high altitude. I called The Honest Company's customer service to discuss what happened. I was on hold less than 60 seconds. A kind, sweet representative took my call and quickly amended the situation by re-shipping the damaged items. She then sat on the phone and thoroughly answered each and every question I had about their Diaper Bundle. I was so impressed with the customer service and how easy it was to report an issue. This is really important to me when choosing online companies to work with.
I have absolutely LOVED my experience with The Honest Company. I recommend them to anyone looking for non-toxic items to use in their home.
I encourage you to connect with The Honest Company and learn more about who they are and what they do! You can sign up to receive emails from Honest here.
The Honest Company also wants to offer you $10 off your $40 purchase by using the code:

Thank you so much Honest for introducing me to safe, green products that I can now use with confidence around my family and in my home!
