Creating Baby's First Easter Basket

Easter is one of my favorite holidays. It is a beautiful celebration of the resurrection of Christ and my family always has wonderful get togethers and dinner on that day. Growing up, my mom always created special Easter baskets or Easter egg hunts for me and my sister. Since Rilynn is way too young for candy or Easter egg hunts, I wanted to come up with a practical, yet fun, Easter basket for her first Easter.

I love the little Easter card and felt garland. I will be able to use the garland in years to come in either her room or future Easter baskets. I chose the ivory lace shoes because they are perfect for spring, comfortable, and a practical color that can go with a lot of outfits. The bright flower onesie is something fun for spring, but can be used all year round since it doesn't have bunnies or Easter eggs on it. The floral bib and bow headband are from one of our favorite shops. Rilynn is continuously cutting new teeth, so we can never have enough bibs. The Art Cards are something I think she will enjoy over the next few months. They are high contrast and teach young children animals and their names. The little bunny doll has ears that match the fabric on her shoes. Rilynn is starting to want a blanket or doll to snuggle with and this bunny is just the right size. I love the detail and love that went into making this stuffed animal. Lastly, I included a new pack of Rilynn's favorite pacifiers, a new anti-colic bottle and an oral care rabbit. MAM pacifiers are the only ones that Rilynn will take. Now that she has started solids and is cutting teeth, the oral care rabbit will be very useful. You can slip it on two of your fingers and massage sore gums or clean the gums after eating.
I love how her Easter basket turned out! I think I maintained a good balance between "fun" and "practical". Here are the details of where I found all of her goodies:

Felt Garland // Easter Mini Card // Flower Onesie // Art Cards // Bunny Doll // Ivory Lace Shoes // Floral Bib & BowPacifiers // Anti-Colic Bottle // Oral Care Rabbit
These shops and companies are generously giving one mama the chance to create their own custom Easter basket for their little one! You can choose items for a boy or girl and also select age appropriate things. Just head over to my instagram for details on how to enter.
