Creating Balance

This is one of the first weekends in a while that we didn't have any plans. Gary didn't have to work any sporting events this weekend which rarely happens. Now that college football is over (insert sad and disappointing face) and we aren't huge basketball fans (college or NBA) that left doesn't leave us with much sporting options.  We are also on a tight budget and participating in the No Spend January with some fellow bloggers. It was a nice weekend staying in the apt hanging out.  Friday we came home and watch a few movies. My aunt sent us a lot of DVDs for Christmas, and it was nice to catch up on those. I'm not a big movie fan so I worked on my knitting and crocheting while watching them. Doesn't anyone else have a problem with just sitting and watching a movie? I feel like I need to be doing something else.  Saturday was a day that we just got caught up on life. I got caught up on my devotionals from Wife After God. I have been horrible about waking up early and spending time with God. At 5:30 in the morning my bed is so warm and comfy. We worked out since we are both wanting to lose like yesterday. It's so frustrating that not being able to fit into some of my favorite clothes. Yuck!!  Sunday is the end of our weekend for the most part. I have to back to work. Then to end the weekend was our normal Sunday tradition that we talk about our upcoming week to make sure we are on the same page and car situation. (We only have 1 car)  Pretty boring weekend but it was nice to just chill and relax a little bit.
