…Crush

This past weekend, you may have briefly heard or read about Apple’s victory over Samsung. Perhaps you just read the headline or maybe this is the first you’re hearing about it.

What you definitely didn’t hear about was the outcry from millions of non-iPhone and iProduct users.

For those of you who are still in the dark on this story—late Friday, nine jurors found Samsung guilty of violating six out of the seven of Apple’s patents at issue.

It’s a miracle that Android users aren’t looking a little nervous this morning, and clinging to their smartphones a little tighter.

Maybe they’re all in shock. Or it might be that some just don’t realize what this means for the future of the smartphone (and the tablet).

This could mean major overhauls to operating systems and, more importantly, higher prices.

Of course, all the clinging and outcry won’t keep the Android powered devices from potentially becoming bricks formerly known as smartphones (that occasionally send and receive calls and texts).

But don’t completely dispair, the iPhone 5 comes out in a few weeks. I hear it’s just like Android.
